Dr. Karl Krista, MD, MBA
Dr. Krista holds a medical degree from the University of Vienna, Austria and a business degree from Kellogg, Northwestern University, IL, USA. Already during his medical studies he developed a strong interest how patients can be empowered by information to become partners in selecting the optimal course of treatment with the physician they trust. In the early 2000s Dr. Krista clinical developed one of the first cancer for the treatment of ovarian cancer with key opinion leaders in the United States and in Europe and was subsequently involved in the developed of a dendritic cell vaccine also for the treatment of ovarian cancer. In addition, he is evaluating many new cancer treatments on an ongoing basis with respect to the validity of their clinical trials and where these new treatments have their place in the fast evolving treatment landscape for cancer.
